                                                             PUNERI  BHAKAR WADI



Ingrediants-

  • 3 tbsp sooji
  • 1/2 cup maida
  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 1 tbsp poopy seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp ajjwain
  • 2 tbsp bikaneri bhujia
  • 1 tsp aniseeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp amchoor powder or tamarind paste
  • sugar or salt to taste
  • 3 tsp oil (Moyan) {heat oil till it smokes}


Method-
Take 1/2 cup maida and 1 tbsp sooji. Add 3 tbsp hot oil. Add little water to make a tight dough. Roll out a thin roti and keep aside.

Next heat oil in a pan. Add sesame seeds, poopy seeds, aniseeds and ajjwain. When they crackel add the besan and fry until brown. Add amchoor powder or tamarind paste and sprinkle a little hot water. Make a roti. Place it over the maida roti. Sprinkle the bhujia over it and roll it together. Cut into small pieces. Fry over medium heat until golden brown.
